
Sharon Kaitz’s
paintings create a universe of lists, shapes, words and letters; a visual vocabulary of notations, sounds, colors, aromas and thoughts. Her forms arise from the essential needs, both material and emotional, of everyday life.

Sharon Kaitz is a Boston artist who has shown her work in the United States and internationally since 1981.
Her paintings are to be found in the permanent collections of the Rose Art Museum at Brandeis University, in corporate collections such as those of General Cinema, Fidelity, the Bank of America, Karas and Karas Glass and the private collections of art collectors including the playwright and movie director David Mamet, the actress Felicity Huffman, There Designs, and the Director of the ICA Jill Medvedow.
Ms. Kaitz has shown in museums including The Rose Art Museum, the ICA Boston, the Fuller Museum and the Berkshire Museum. She has been represented by Harcus Gallery, Beth Urdang Gallery, Galerie Mourlot and Allston Skirt Gallery. She is currently represented by Clark Gallery in Lincoln, Mass.
